My submission for the 2024.1 Brackey's Game Jam.

My design idea for this game was a platformer where the player explores the overworld as a jumping, running mushroom but can transform into electricity to navigate the Earth's mycelium network at light speed. 

I have ideas for a whole load of spore-related platforming abilities as well as circuit-based puzzles. But, as you can see, my focus for this game jam was more on building a coherent environment and learning a bit more about splines, particles and shaders. So in this regard, I feel like I've succeeded, even if the game is a bit dull in its current early form. 

I'd like to spend a little bit more time on this maybe making a fun couple of levels with polish. Once I hit a few delays and roadblocks with the spline situation, all the time I'd put aside for fun mechanics sort of passed me by, which is a shame.

I wish I had more time to work on it this weekend before the actual deadline, but I've got a family event all weekend. After all, I'm a pretty fun guy.
